Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Minimum Levels

This page lists the lowest possible level at which Pokémon can be obtained in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl alone.

Any Pokémon that can be obtained in an Egg can be obtained at level 1. This first table will show only the levels that can be obtained without the use of breeding, except for Pokémon that can only be obtained via breeding. A list of all breedable Pokémon, and evolutions that can be obtained at a lower level by using breeding, is given below the primary table.

In the Grand Underground, the level range at which wild Pokémon can be encountered is changed as the player hits certain story checkpoints. This means that for any Pokémon whose lowest level is tied to the Grand Underground, it may be permanently missable if the player does not catch it before reaching those story checkpoints. Therefore, any Pokémon whose lowest level is in the Grand Underground will have both its Grand Underground and outside-of-Grand Underground levels listed, unless the Pokémon is only obtainable in the Grand Underground.
