The player must complete the puzzle at the Sealed Chamber in order for this cave to open.
Inside the cave, in Ruby and Sapphire, the player must read the Braille and wait for two minutes to open the door. In Emerald, the player must instead complete a lap of the chamber, staying next to the wall the entire time.

To unlock Regigigas, the player must unlock the National Dex, put all three of Regice, Regirock, and Registeel in the party, nickname Regice, give Regice a Casteliacone, Never-Melt Ice, Icy Rock, Icicle Plate, or Snowball, and talk to the girl in the northeast house in Pacifidlog Town.
If these steps are completed, the player can encounter Regigigas starting from the day after catching the last of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. It cannot be encountered at night.
