The Acro Bike is required to access Area 4.
Surf is required to access a Max Revive in Area 2 and TM22 Solarbeam in Area 3. In Emerald, Surf is also required to access a Big Pearl in Area 5. Wild Pokémon can also be encountered here with Surf.
Rock Smash can be used to encounter wild Pokémon in Areas 4 and 6.
