Burned Tower

Access to:
Exit on 1F: Ecruteak City

Places of interest:
Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will be released if the player approaches them on B1F. They will then appear in random locations across Johto. This page on Glitch City Labs details the mechanics. In Crystal, releasing the beasts will cause Suicune to appear in the overworld instead of as a roaming encounter.

Utility:
In Gold and Silver, Rock Smash is required to access a Burn Heal, an X Speed, an Ether, and two Trainers. In Crystal, Rock Smash is required to access an HP Up.
Strength is required to access TM20 Endure.
