Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee Utility Guide

The following tables contain every place where a utility item or ability (a Secret Technique, the Silph Scope, Poké Flute, or the ability to fly on Charizard, Aerodactyl, or Dragonite after defeating the Elite Four) is required to access something.
All HM requirements are the same in both Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee.

Flying Pokémon

After defeating the Elite Four, the player can use a Charizard, Dragonite, or Aerodactyl to encounter wild Pokémon in the air above certain locations. The areas where the player can use Fly to encounter wild Pokémon are Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25.

Secret Technique: Chop Down

Secret Technique: Chop Down

Viridian City Chop Down is required to collect TM11 Will-O-Wisp from a man in the southwest.
Route 2 Chop Down is required to access three Great Balls, a Leaf Stone, a Super Potion, Bug Catcher Hans, the aide who will teach the player's Partner Pokémon Light Up, and the Diglett's Cave entrance.
Pewter City Chop Down is required to collect the Old Amber and ten Pretty Wings from a Scientist in the Pewter Museum.
Vermilion City Chop Down is required to access the Gym.
Route 25 Chop Down is required to access TM19 Thunder Wave if the player did not lure the Trainer away from that area.
Route 9 Chop Down is required to access the route from Cerulean City.
Route 8 Chop Down is required to access the grass patch, as well as a Fire Stone, Ace Trainer Kyla, and Bug Catcher Terry.
Celadon City Chop Down is required to access and navigate the Gym. Chop Down is also required to access Lass Dianne.
Route 12 Chop Down is required to access a Water Stone, Rocker Luca, and Lass Vicky, as well as the grass patch.
Route 13 Cut is required to access the grass patch, Ace Trainer Kite, Bug Catcher Kenny, and a PP Up.
Route 14 Chop Down is required to access the grass patch, as well as the upper path of Route 15.
Route 15 Using Chop Down on Route 14 is required to access the top path of Route 15.
Route 16 Cut is required to access the grass patch, a PP Up, and several Trainers, as well as to collect TM14 Fly from the woman in the house.

Secret Technique: Sea Skim

Pallet Town Sea Skim is required to travel to Route 21 to the south.
Route 22 Sea Skim can be used to encounter wild Pokémon.
Route 4 Sea Skim is required to access a PP Max and Beauty Camille by Sea Skimming from Route 24. Wild Pokémon can also be encountered here with Sea Skimming.
Cerulean City Sea Skim is required to access Cerulean Cave, Coach Trainer Harjit, Psychic Avery, and Beauty Camille and a PP Max on Route 4 by Sea Skimming through the city from Route 24.
Route 24 Sea Skim is required to access Cerulean Cave, Coach Trainer Harjit, and Psychic Avery in Cerulean City, and Beauty Camille and a PP Max on Route 4, by Sea Skimming down the western channel.
Wild Pokémon can also be encountered here with Sea Skim.
Route 25 Sea Skim can be used to encounter wild Pokémon.
Cerulean Cave Sea Skim is required to access and navigate this area. Wild Pokémon can also be encountered on 1F and B1F with Sea Skim.
Route 6 Sea Skim can be used to encounter wild Pokémon.
Vermilion City Sea Skim is required to access a hidden Big Pearl and a hidden Revive.
Route 11 Sea Skim can be used to encounter wild Pokémon.
Route 10 Sea Skim is required to access the Power Plant, a Thunder Stone, Poké Maniac Mark, and Scientist Levi. Wild Pokémon can also be encountered here with Sea Skim.
Power Plant Sea Skim is required to access the Power Plant, by Sea Skimming from Route 10.
Celadon City Sea Skim is required to collect TM26 Poison Jab from the man north of the pond and access Scientist Cory.
Route 12 Sea Skim is required to access TM24 X-Scissor, Beauty Lucy, and Beauty Evette. Wild Pokémon can also be encountered here with Sea Skim.
Route 13 Sea Skim is required to access Beauty Arianna. Wild Pokémon can also be encountered here with Sea Skim.
Route 18 Sea Skim can be used to encounter wild Pokémon.
Routes 19, 20, and 21 Sea Skim is required to navigate all three routes.
Wild Pokémon can be encountered on these routes with Sea Skim.
Seafoam Islands Sea Skim is required to access and navigate the Seafoam Islands. Wild Pokémon can also be encountered on B3F and B4F with Sea Skim.
Cinnabar Island Sea Skim is required to access Cinnabar Island the first time, as well as to travel to Route 20 or 21.
Route 23 Sea Skim is required to navigate the route. Wild Pokémon can also be encountered here with Sea Skim.

Secret Technique: Strong Push

Fuchsia City Strong Push is required to access the Diglett who gives the player a daily Nugget in the Safari Zone Warden's house.
Seafoam Islands Strong Push is required to navigate the area, and to reach Articuno.
Victory Road Strong Push is required to navigate the area.

Secret Technique: Light Up

Silph Scope

Pokémon Tower The Silph Scope is needed to battle and capture wild Pokémon. The Silph Scope is required to reveal the Marowak on 6F, which must be passed to acquire the Poké Flute.

Poké Flute

Routes 12 and 16 The Poké Flute is needed to battle and capture Snorlax blocking the path on both routes. Clearing at least one Snorlax is required to access Fuchsia City.
