The Vs. Seeker can be used in this area to rematch Trainers.
Move Tutor: The Move Tutor on this route can teach the player's fully-evolved starter Frenzy Plant (Grass-types), Blast Burn (Fire-types), or Hydro Cannon (Water-types). The player's starter must have maximum friendship to learn the move.

Utility:
Rock Smash is required to access a Shed Shell.
Surf can be used here to encounter wild Pokémon.
