Pokémon Pinball Series
The Pokémon Pinball games are a duo of games that mix traditional pinball mechanics with Pokémon-catching mechanics, released between 1999 and 2003. Your pinball is a Poké Ball, and you catch Pokémon by unlocking them on screen by hitting board elements, and then hitting the Pokémon itself to catch it. They can be evolved via interaction with other board elements.
The following games are part of the series:
- Pokémon Pinball (GB): Released for the Game Boy Color in 1999 (Japan and North America) and 2000 (Australia and Europe). The first 151 Pokémon are obtainable (Bulbasaur through Mew).
- Pokémon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire: Released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. The 201 Pokémon present in the Hoenn Pokédex are obtainable (Treecko through Jirachi), though Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, and Aerodactyl make cameos, and can be obtained with access to an e-Reader.
