In various areas throughout the game, the player can find Cameron the photographer on certain days of the week. Upon speaking with him, he will offer to take a photo of the player and their Pokémon. These photos, along with the date they were taken, are saved in the player's Photo Album and can be viewed on their PC.
Additionally, a handful of NPCs will offer to take a photo with the player when spoken to, and Cameron will appear and take the photo if the player agrees.

The camera outside Cameron's house in Cianwood City can be used to take pictures, even though Cameron is not present.
The player can use the camera in Goldenrod Tunnel to take a photo while the player character is dressed in a Team Rocket uniform.
