In Ruby and Sapphire, there is a house with a door on the back wall. Trainers can be battled here if the player has scanned e-Reader cards.
Mossdeep Space Center
Mossdeep Gym: The seventh Gym. It specializes in Psychic-types and Double Battles.
Mossdeep Game Corner: In Emerald, a Game Corner located in the city allows players to play minigames with other owners of FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald, using the Wireless Adapter.
Move Tutor: In Emerald, a Black Belt near the western shore can teach one Pokémon Dynamicpunch.

Utility:
Surf is required to access Mossdeep City the first time, as well as to travel to Route 124, 125, or 127. Wild Pokémon can also be encountered here with Surf.
