Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Decoration Locations

This page contains the locations of all decorations that can be obtained. The decorations can be placed in the player's Secret Base or in their bedroom. While all decorations can be used in Secret Bases, the player's bedroom can only be decorated with dolls and cushions. Both the bedroom and the Secret Base have a maximum of 16 decorations that can be placed at any one time.

Pretty Petal shop

After the player has defeated Wattson at Mauville Gym and spoken with the sister nearest the door, the shop will sell decorations.

Slateport Market

The market in Slateport City has two shops that sell decorations. The Doll Shop is available the first time the player visits the city, and sells Pokémon dolls. The Secret Power Club Shop only opens after the player obtains TM43 Secret Power on Route 111.

Mauville Game Corner

The Game Corner in Mauville City sells Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip Dolls for 1000 coins each.

Glass Workshop

At the Glass Workshop on Route 113, the boss can turn soot collected from walking in the grass patches on the route into glass objects. Stepping on a single sooty grass tile provides the player with one unit of soot. The units needed to make each item are shown below.

In Emerald only, the player can use their Battle Points (BP) to purchase decorations at the Exchange Service Corner in the Battle Frontier.

Other

Trick House

The reward for completing Puzzle 8 at the Trick House is a Tent. The player will receive the Red Tent in Ruby, the Blue Tent and Sapphire, and be able to choose their color in Emerald.

Lanette

The player will receive a Doll for speaking to Lanette in her house on Route 114 after speaking to her in Fallarbor Town. In Ruby, the player will receive a Seedot Doll, and in Sapphire and Emerald, they will receive a Lotad Doll.

Lilycove Museum

An artist at Lilycove Museum will offer to paint portraits of the player's Pokémon if the player is able to win a Master Rank contest with a sufficiently high score. If the artist paints portraits for all five Contest categories, the museum curator will give the player a Glass Ornament.

Sootopolis City

The girl in the house east of the Pokémon Center in Sootopolis City will give the player a Wailmer Doll.

Battle Tower/Frontier

In Ruby and Sapphire's Battle Tower, the player will receive a Silver Shield for winning 50 battles in a row and a Gold Shield for winning 100 in a row. In Emerald, the player must win 50 or 100 battles in the Battle Tower in Singles mode, and will receive them by speaking with Scott.

e-Reader

Regirock, Regice, and Registeel Dolls could be obtained by scanning the Decoration Present e-Reader called, available only in a Japanese promotion. Bulbapedia has slightly more information.
