Access to:
Exit: Survival Area
In Platinum, after completing the events at Stark Mountain, the Battleground will open in up in the Survival Area. Every day, up to four Trainers will appear here and can be battled by the player one time. The possible Trainers that can appear are the eight Gym Leaders and the five Double Battle partners that the player meets (Cheryl, Mira, Riley, Marley, and Buck). In order for a Double Battle partner to appear, the player must have first escorted them out of the area they appear in.
