• Wild Bibarel have a 50% chance of holding an Oran Berry and a 5% chance of holding a Sitrus Berry.
• Wild Budew, Roselia, Skorupi, and Drapion have a 5% chance of holding a Poison Barb.
• Wild Starly and Staravia have a 5% chance of holding a Yache Berry.
• Wild Yanma have a 5% chance of holding a Wide Lens.
• Wild Croagunk and Toxicroak have a 5% chance of holding Black Sludge.
• Wild Paras have a 50% chance of holding a TinyMushroom and a 5% chance of holding a Big Mushroom.
• Wild Shroomish have a 5% chance of holding a Kebia Berry.
• Wild Gulpin have a 5% chance of holding a Big Pearl.
• Wild Kecleon have a 5% chance of holding a Persim Berry.
• Wild Carvanha have a 5% chance of holding a DeepSeaTooth.

All 6 areas of the Great Marsh have associated encounter tables, just like any other area. At the beginning of every day, one Pokémon is chosen for each of the six areas from a special list. The chosen Pokémon will replace encounter slots 6 and 7 (in reference to the "Full" versions of the encounter tables below). This gives them a 10% chance to appear. If the Pokémon can already appear in the area, they gain an additional 10% chance to appear. Their level will be based on the level associated with the Pokémon in the slot they are replacing.

Below are the normal encounter tables for the six Great Marsh areas. After that is displayed the list of Pokémon that can be chosen for each area's "special" encounter, with the rate of each Pokémon being chosen.
