Capture Arena Challenges

In the Capture Arena, the player is able to take on a series of 12 capture challenges that unlock in a specific order. In each challenge, the player will be tasked with capturing certain species of Pokémon. All Pokémon that are fought in the Capture Arena have a much higher Friendship Gauge than normal and tend to attack more frequently, making them more difficult to capture. However, the Capture Arena is the only place where the player can find certain Pokémon after they are caught during the story, meaning that a player wishing to get a higher capture rank on a Pokémon will need to use the Capture Arena to encounter them.

The player cannot bring any Pokémon to the challenges except for their Partner Pokémon. Any Pokémon captured during the challenge can be used for their Poké Assist against other Pokémon in the challenge, except for bosses (which end the challenge; therefore they cannot be used for their Poké Assist).

The twelve challenges are shown below.
