HeartGold and SoulSilver Poké Ball Locations

The following tables contain the location(s) of all Poké Ball types in HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Poké Marts

Poké Balls can only be purchased at the Cherrygrove Poké Mart after first receiving them from Ethan or Lyra on Route 29.

All Poké Marts (that is, locations actually called 'Poké Mart', not just shops) sell Poké Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls. Great Balls are only sold after obtaining 3 Badges, and Ultra Balls after 5 Badges. Buying ten or more Poké Balls at a time will also reward the player with a Premier Ball.

In addition to the normal Poké Balls sold by these Marts, many Poké Marts also have additional types of Poké Balls sold by the upper vendor in the Mart. These types are listed below.

Kurt in Azalea Town makes custom Poké Balls in exchange for Apricorns. He will make one ball for each Apricorn provided, and each of the balls can be obtained multiple times. The balls that he can make are shown below.
