In Guardian Signs, after escorting Nema to her house and putting out the fire, the player will gain access to the Styler modification feature of the Styler. With this feature, the player can use collected Ranger Points to improve certain statistical aspects of the Styler at their own discretion. Leveling up normally (through experience collected by making captures) will still increase the Styler's abilities, but the modification system allows the player to further upgrade their Styler on top of that.
To modify the Styler, the player needs to pay a specified amount of Ranger Points. Ranger Points can be collected in the following ways:
The total amount of obtainable points is 2,101, and the total cost to fully upgrade all Styler modification options is 2,100. All Missions and Quests must be completed, and all but one Pokémon must be captured with an S-rank to achieve this.
When the modification system first becomes available, only three options are available to upgrade: Energy Plus, Power Plus, and Line Plus. More options become available as the story progresses. The tables below indicate the levels and values of the options.
Energy is the HP value of the Styler. Leveling it up provides a flat boost to total HP. When leveled up, the extra Energy gained is not automatically healed.

Power is the 'damage' value of the Styler, indicating how much of a Pokémon's Friendship Gauge is filled when looping it. Leveling it up provides a flat boost to the Power amount.
