Partner Pokémon

The player can obtain a total of 17 potential Partner Pokémon over the course of the game, with each one representing one of the 17 types and using that type's Poké Assist. None of them have Field Moves.

Starting Partner Pokémon

Early in the game, the player's Rookie Mission is to capture one of Starly, Pachirisu, or Munchlax on Nabiki Beach in Vientown. Whichever Pokémon is captured here becomes the player's first Partner Pokémon. The two not selected can be obtained by completing Quests after finishing Mission 16: Execute Operation Brighton!.
