Stargazer Colosseum

This colosseum becomes available to the player after they clear Courtyard Colosseum. In this colosseum, the player must defeat six Trainers, followed by the Pokétopia Master, in Knockout Battles. The six Trainers the player fights are identical to the Colosseum Leaders of Main Street, Waterfall, Neon, Crystal, Magma, and Sunset Colosseums. The player can use a Rental Pass with rental Pokémon or a custom Battle Pass with Pokémon from a connected copy of the DS games Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, and SoulSilver.

The first time the player challenges this colosseum, they will have to face Double Battles, using the Level 30 Open ruleset.

After the colosseum has been completed for the first time, the type of battle used in this colosseum changes to Masters Battle, starting from Set 1. In Masters Battles, all battles are Double Battles, and the only level rule available is Level 50 All. In each set of Masters Battles, the player will fight three Trainers, followed by one of the Colosseum Masters from Gateway Colosseum, Sunny Park Colosseum, or Courtyard Colosseum, or Master of Masters Mysterial himself, all with new teams. The Pokémon used in these sets are not random and use specific IVs and Natures, unlike most other opposing Pokémon in the game. There are eight sets total. After completing a set, the player will gain access to the next set. If they wish, they can also choose to challenge previously-cleared sets. This is different from other colosseums, which prevent the player from returning to a previous rank once it is cleared.

In Double Battles, the player and opposing Trainers all have six Pokémon, and must choose four to participate in the battle with.

Completing Stargazer Colosseum for the first time unlocks the Level 50 All mode for all colosseums except Gateway, Sunny Park, Courtyard, and Stargazer itself. It also unlocks the Rental Battle ruleset for Gateway Colosseum, the Little Battle ruleset for Sunny Park Colosseum, and the Survival Battle ruleset for Courtyard Colosseum. At that time, the player will be prevented from returning to the previous rulesets on those three colosseums.
