Gold, Silver, and Crystal Home
Gold, Silver, and Crystal were released between 1999 and 2001 for the Game Boy Color, and again in 2017-2018 for the 3DS Virtual Console. The original cartridges are compatible with each other, as well as Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, and Pokémon Stadium 2. The Virtual Console releases can trade with each other as well as Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow, and can send Pokémon to the 3DS app Pokémon Bank, which could then send Pokémon to any game released after (and including) Sun and Moon.
Gold, Silver, and Crystal have a total of 251 obtainable Pokémon, although some require trading with Red, Green, Blue, or Yellow to obtain.
